Trudging through mixes and masters for the past couple weeks. All this works got me thinking about the past 12 years of recording. I seriously can't thank all of my clients, old and new, enough. Since 2006, you've trusted me with your work, helped put food on my table and been all around amazing to work with. The Countless late night sessions, hilarious conversations, awesome music, coffees/beers consumed and friendships formed make it all worth enduring the low points. Even when I tried to push music aside and follow a new path last year, there was that annoying little voice inside saying "what the fuck are you doing?" (Along with words of encouragement from good friends) Seriously, thank you.

@avensonaudio STO 2s are all over the records I make, but it's truly a secret weapon on gritty bass, especially coupled with something more traditional, such as the @telefunken_mics M82 pictured here. So much love for both these mics. Irreplaceable.

Perks of being a part-time woodworker. When you need custom enclosures for xlr panels, you build em' out of solid reclaimed oak and finish them with commercial lacquer.

Yeah, they're essentially Behringer. No I don't give a shit. Can not believe how good these boxes sound for the price. Do they sound like a "real pultec" ? Not a clue. Don't let the gear turds tell you that you can't make records without spending your mortgage on gear.
